Conhecido pelas suas fantásticas e poderosas actuações ao vivo, Myles Sanko é uma estrela em ascenção que acrescenta um capítulo essencial na história da música soul britânica.
Myles Sanko, começou a sua carreira musical como cantor e rapper acompanhando DJ’s em discotecas. Vocalista dos Bijoumiyo, Myles trabalhou ainda com os reis do funk, Speedometer. Com o seu estilo sincero e direto, facilmente se pode associar o seu trabalho a um passado, presente e futuro.
Gravou o seu primeiro álbum de estreia "Born In Black & White" em 2013 que foi um sucesso, mesmo sem qualquer distribuição ou comercialização oficial. Forever Dreaming (2014), foi a confirmação do seu trabalho com mais de 90 espetáculos e uma digressão partilhada com Gregory Porter.
Just Being Me (2016) é um regresso a casa, ao seu lado mais íntimo, que transcende as fronteiras estilísticas. Um álbum sobre amor, esperança e política que apesar da produção clássica de jazz, mantém uma sonoridade repleta de groove, captando a sua jornada musical desde a passagem pelo hip-hop até à descoberta da soul.
Com uma instrumentação rica e um arranjo colorido, Just Being Me (2016) tem o grito de poder próprio de um excelente álbum soul.
No início de 2018 veio a Portugal apresentar Just Being Me, uma tour muito aclamada pelo público e crítica nacional, que começou no Porto, num concerto esgotado na Casa da Música, passando depois por Lisboa, Musicbox, pelo Centro de Artes de Águeda, e pelo Theatro Circo de Braga.
